WALKING WITH KAYDAN
a journey of faith, struggle, and hope through the world of special needs
An authentic look into the lives of a family that manages to love a young boy with a dual-diagnosis, and each other. Born in the car on the way to the hospital, Kaydan is as challenging as he is loveable. Born with Down syndrome and later diagnosed with Autism, Kaydan pushes the limits of sanity and faith. This book epitomizes the struggle to love in the face of daily challenges, through surviving, reviving and thriving. You will be challenged to embrace the lessons of grit and grace.
Audience
This book will engage readers who are parents or relatives of special needs children, and those who work with or care for families with special needs kids. While not a typical book on mastery of techniques, my approach focuses on awareness, which fosters growth, understanding and connection.
